Seeing Holdycakes prance around in his boots and tights with a wig on was incredible. He wore this whole get-up for 3 hours on Saturday for a party... and then 4 1/2 on Halloween night. He never really tried to take it off either. He totally owned Captain Hook... and kept his 'stache pretty tidy too.

Feathers: $2 at Hobby Lobby
Wig: found in my parents' attic
Red coat: $1 at Goodwill... was a Girls Christmas dress... had to cut the flowers off
Poofy collar thing: Cloth napkin that I rolled up and pinned
Belt: Carson's sock
Leggings : 50 cents at Goodwill
Boots: Hand-me-down from Wells... taped a spray-painted cardboard buckle on them
Hook: $4 from costume store
I happened to catch him droppin' it like it's hot right in front of his lady chicken friend, Lucy:)

Our neighbor projected a video of "Lasik surgery gone wrong" onto his house to set the tone for the evening.
